Pasadena is a city southeast of Houston in Harris County, Texas. It is the location of the last battle of the Texas Revolution, where the Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna was captured in 1836. The San Jacinto Monument, which commemorates the battle, is located on the city’s outskirts.
