Boring is a small village in Maryland. Interested parties can reach the area by taking the I-795 north to MD 30 North towards Hanover, PA.
The village has a couple of attractions in store. Every second weekend of June, the community's Volunteer Fire Department stages the Boring Gas Engine Show and Flea Market. On display are many antiquated tractors, as well as old gas and steam engines which powered farms in the area's environs back in the first half of the 20th century. The event also features antique tractor pulls.
Bingo is played six nights a week at the fire hall.
