Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County, in southern California. The old community, called Rosena was a sleepy, dusty town of citrus orchards and cattle ranches. The town was renamed after its founder, the Fontana Development Company. Fontana today is home to around 152,000 residents, one of the most populated cities in the Riverside-San Bernardino metro area.
The California Speedway, Fontana's principal cultural and entertainment attraction is located just west of the city's border.
